My background is interdisciplinary.
on challenging research and editorial projects.
My work is equal parts poetic expression and critical inquiry. I see each film as an opportunity to ask questions, take risks, and experiment.
Before I became a filmmaker, I trained extensively in mask, mime, and improvisational performance. This early emphasis on image and action-based storytelling continues to inform my work today.
This work has been made possible with generous support from Harvard University, Palais de Tokyo, Souvenirs from Earth, the Disposable Film Festival, the NYC Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, NEW INC and The New Museum, The Bureau of Creative Works, The Office of Culture and Design, Residency Unlimited, New York Women in Film and Television, The One Day on Earth Foundation, and The Order of the Good Death.
